This site sells single servers. Colocation goes to our colocation desk; GPU servers, multi-server clusters and larger deployments go to our multi-server desk for a quote.
Questions
Before you order
What does "unmetered" mean here?
No monthly transfer cap on the server's 1 Gbps port: you can use the port as much as you like, and the speed limit is the port itself. It is offered on the servers listed on the unmetered page, and the Acceptable Use Policy still applies.
How much transfer is included?
Every server includes 20 TB of outbound transfer a month; inbound traffic is not counted. Selected servers can move to a 50 TB, 100 TB or unmetered package for a fixed monthly price.
Is a 10 Gbps port unmetered?
No. A 10 Gbps port includes 20 TB a month, with a 100 TB package on selected servers. If you need more, ask for a quote and we will tell you what is possible before you order.
How does ordering work?
Send an order request for the server, location and management tier you want. We check stock at that location, confirm the setup date and the final monthly price by email within one business day, and only then send an invoice. Nothing is charged when you submit the form.
What does "managed" cover, exactly?
Essential Managed covers operating system security updates, initial hardening (SSH keys only, firewall, brute-force blocking, automatic security updates), 24/7 monitoring with alerts, nightly offsite backups and handling hardware failures with the data center for you. Pro Managed adds configuration changes, two admin hours a month and a 1-hour first response for outages. Neither tier covers writing or debugging your application code.
Do I get root access on a managed server?
Yes. You keep full root (or sudo) access on every tier. If a change you make conflicts with our hardening or breaks backups, we will tell you and help put it right; on Essential that help is limited to restoring the managed baseline.
Is DDoS protection included?
Every server sits behind automatic network-layer (L3/L4) volumetric DDoS filtering at no extra cost. That handles common floods; it is not an application firewall. If you expect targeted application-layer attacks, put a CDN or WAF in front of the server and we can help configure it on Pro Managed.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Services renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel by email before the day your service renews; monthly services then end at the end of the billing month and prepaid terms run to the end of the term. Within 7 days of handover you can cancel a prepaid term for a full refund, and if you cancel a managed tier within 30 days of handover we refund the first month's management fee.
